I smoke Virginia Flakes almost exclusively. I smoke around 8 lbs per year I think.

I’ve got a lb. of Constellation which is the most I have of any tobacco. But that’s obviously nothing compared to what some guys have.
I typically buy by the pound in bags. Lately I've been getting Sutliff Match blends. I like some variety so I've got about 5 to 7 lbs maybe, in my storage cooler. I'm good till next year unless I see something I just 'gotta have'.
My smoking frequency, or number of bowls smoked per day has declined by about 50% since I first figured out how to smoke a pipe almost 10 yrs ago. My nicotine requirement has become less demanding.

My favorite is Solani Silver Flake. I smoke 3lb per year and have 20lb in a cellar.
I’m in kilos, mine favorite is StBernard and don’t have it cellared, others have about 7-8kilos
My 2 favorites are Presbyterian and MB Navy Flake, I have both 1 kilo of them, I might smoke 200 grams of each a year as I like variety. I try to have about 10 blends open, every time I open a tin I just order a new one for the stash.
I have many favorites depending on my mood. One of my recent finds is Bob's Chocolate Flake and recently jarred up 500g of that. Also jarred 1lb of C&D Winchester, plan to age some and smoke some now.
My fave right now is probably Capstan Original. I smoke both the flake and the ready rubbed. I've got about 1200 grams stashed.
I have no brand favorites, but tend towards Virginias, Orientals and English/Balkan blends. I have too much of everything.
Generally around 18 pounds per year give or take. Mostly straight Orientals and Virginias. I rarely get into listing brands, too many search bots present.

The math is analogous for me but the companion question to how many pounds you need is how many pounds you have. In my case the answer is there will absolutely be unsmoked tobacco in abundance to place in the pyramid for my utilization in the afterlife.

I don't see that blend mentioned as often as others when taking about Virginias. But I'm with you. I love that blend and I'm currently holding about a pound in my cellar (in tins).
While it might sounds far fetched to do that on the commodity pipe tobacco; Webscrape our forums, webscrape webshops, webscrape secondary market demand and make an estimate if a massive buyout on those webshops will net more money when selling on that secondary market.
