Have you ever been pleasantly disappointed?

Benjamin! You finally post! Welcome. To my delight I received a phone call earlier this evening from Benjamin, explaining what had happened, and I, too have had this problem. However, I was also pleasantly disappointed, so thusly I concur with Cosmic on the congradudolences.

    Posting Problem

I've got drafts for about 6 new posts, and I can't seem to pull the trigger on them. Anyone else sit down to make a new Topic, write it out and then right before posting it, deleting everything and going on to something else? It seems every time I write something, I think better of it and delete...

2014 Coulee Region Pipe Party Report

Slow smoking is lighting the bowl once and not relighting correct? Or is there some other stipulations?

    I Lost My Mind Today!

I usually find my mind on my pipe shelf, next to a good book. I have two more days until the rest of my PandC haul comes in, then, and only then, will I be able to stuff my mind back in my skull. At least until I wake up and go back to work, then it will hop back out again.

    CVS Closeout

CVS is a drug store chain in America. They decided to completely take all tobacco products of their shelves for "the health of Americans". I don't think that is an actual quote but it looked good in quotations.

    I am a pipe-smoker

I should also add, as an extra tid-bit, that I am 20, but I don't think that could possibly be right.

    I am a pipe-smoker

I echo everyone on your (hunter) ability to write. It is very pleasing to read. I am also an avid reader, I probably spend more of my income on books and tobacco than food, and rightly so. I whittle in a rocking chair that I restored (whilst smoking), I whistle while I drive (I would rather walk...

Pipes Destroyed: Foul and Most Unnatural Murder!

I'm usually level-headed but this makes my blood boil. A pipe is, to me, very sacred and personal. To cause destruction to the pipe of another being is...... damnable. The blasted swine. My apologies for the language, but I honestly cannot coherently think of anything else to say. I know I am...

    CVS Closeout

I have never in my life seen any pipes in a CVS, I must now go to one and discover if any of the local ones here have any left. Also, I've only called it and heard it called 'Gray Bow'

    Rare Jewels: A 1903 Peterson's Patent

I've said this a few times before, but Peterson was the first pipe I smoked. It was my dad's and I was 15. He had bought it on a trip to Ireland while working. Then, when it came time that I should buy a pipe, Peterson was the one I chose. Beautiful Pipe. Love the restoration

    POV Pipe View

I'm getting a new haul in from P and C tomorrow, I'll try to get a good picture of one of my favorite smoke spots.

    New tobacco in old cans

Peteguy, glad I wasn't the only one that spotted that. Not to echo everyone else, but pictures would be great. :puffy:

    Biggest Nic Hit Ever

A buddy of mine decided it would be a good idea to put some of that stuff in his mouth for a "good hit". Needless to say he got hit all right. Right on his butt and into a toilet his lunch did go. Glad you turned out all right ravkesef.

    I Have a Question

No worries bigvan, I've made sure that's not the pipe. HH Old Dark Fired sounds great actually, I'll invest in some of that and probably some Vintage Syrian. I wasn't terribly keen on Nightcap. Thanks for the suggestions so far.
