    Ok, the rehydration project worked pretty good. Edgeworth got soft and full. Smoked a bowl with my cofee this morning. Good stuff. Thanks for the tips.

    Smoke slow Dave. Take your time. Get you a good pipe and slooooowly break it in. I started with Carter Hall and a cob. Gave me time to learn the in's and out's and decide on pipe styles and tobac's i"d like to try.

    Hey unclearthur. Simple yeah except for that mousetrap and spark advance. Takes some getting used to. 36-to mid (66?) 60's I think. Rode a couple of ol flatties years ago. Kept you busy.

    Harley Davidson owners manual. Electra Glide Ultra Limited. Boring. But important to know what all the little gizmos are. The Ol Pan is much simpeler.

    Update. Went to the gro. store and got a bottle of distilled water. Dipped a clean gun cleaning patch into it and wrung out the excess. Found an old Escudo tin and cleaned it with dist. agua. Poured the contents of one of the Edgeworth packs into the tin and placed the damp patch on top...

    Got an Edgeworth six pack (store display) from the 50's. I opened one pkg. and did a bowl just to check it out. I knew the baccy would be real dry and it was. Smoked ok for an old dry blend. Really, not bad. I feel that when this pkg. is re-hydrated it's going to be realy good...

    I'm with Hobie. I too work construction and the time I have to myself (early) AM is best with good coffee and a pipe. I'm a Superintendent and need calm before the storm.
