Something about this one, had to have it. My first freehand, they never appealed to me before this one. EH Piben from Denmark, never saw any others from him. This one is for Sextant, Black Frigate and Gaslight

Even though I still believe that beauty is highly subjective, and is in the eye of the beholder, or beer holder if you wish, I'll post the one pipe of mine that I think is beautiful in an unusual way.

I got this pipe from a forum member over a year ago, and think is is quite unique, and beautiful if you will. The pipe is from an Italian pipe maker selling under the name of PIpa Ciro. It's a bog oak morta with a nice lucite stem and a briar band. It may not be my favorite pipe to smoke, but it is one I love to look at and smoke occasionally.

Thanks guys! The bowl on that morta is kind of narrow but deep, so I find that it smokes best with dryer types of tobaccos like flakes, and I can usually get about at least an hour or more, depending on how I pack it. For some reason, I have more trouble with narrow deep bowls than I do with wider shallow bowls. I guess that's why I find myself smoking the more boring but elegant in their own way, billiards, pots, and bulldogs.

Love that 4-dot Pruss. Pipebuddy, I am a sucker for Ashtons, that's a pretty Oldchurch, although a bit more chunky than my ideal.

Some nice pipes there guys. That's a tough one but I think I'd have to go with my newly purchased Stanwell Hans Christian Andersen sandblasted cutty. No pic as I'm away right now but it is a very elegant pipe.

Not mine, yet. I saw this and must have it, but the price is to much for my current financial situation, that is cheapness. I can't bring myself to spend that much on a pipe, maybe someday.

That same pipe sits in the display case at my B+M and it is a hell of a sharp looking pipe.
