Sutliff English Oriental #400341. Terrible name, really delicious smoke. I never see anyone talking about it, and it has only like 11 ratings on TR, with a respectable 3.09 average. Reminiscent of Balkan Sasieni and even (dare I say it?) Esoterica Margate. Plus, cheap as chips – $36/lb.

I've mentioned this elsewhere, but I stoved a few ounces the other day and am looking forward to seeing if that does anything to make the stock blend even better.

Savinelli Jupiter.

It has a 3.7/4 on the Tobacco Reviews website, but only 12 reviews. Never hear anyone talk about it though. It's damn good and consistently overshadowed. I rarely see it recommended when people ask for burley recommendations.

So in that regard, it is a bit... underrated not in it's actual rating, just the nobody ever talking about it. It's easily one of my top 10 for burley.

Black XXX Twist and Brown Twist from Gawith & Hogwarts is rarely spoken about but can be mixed with some of their other flakes to enhance the nicotine yield and flavor profiles. Broken Flake No:7 is another one you don't hear much about which our friends in Cumbria has so far not managed to change beyond recognition.

Broken Flake No 7 was once recommended to me as a substitute for Condor Long Cut. @condorlover1 , as the leading expert on Condor related topics, can you confirm any resemblance?

MM/Sutliff Lord Morgan. 60% Latakia, aged in a “top shelf” bourbon barrel. I smoke a lot of Lat blends. My wife puts up with ‘em.. This is the only one that had my wife go, “That smells great. You should smoke that more often”.

She’s right.
Yesssss. Very underrated English. Dark and decadent.

Want to try it after all you guys recommended but seems sold out everywhere, is it no longer in production?

I think Lord Morgan was a limited run for a Missouri Meerschaum anniversary or something.

It may also just be Plum Pudding Barrel-aged with a different label on it, although don’t take my word for it.

I’ve have about 30 grams left of it in a mason jar. Happy to send it along if you want to try it.
