I don’t have a specific blend that I fall back on. In fact I have very little in my growing cellar that is 4oz or more.

I would say, though, that there is a style I tend to fall back on: English ribbon cut blends. Some that have never tired: Balkan Supreme, Super Balkan, Stratfordshire, Presbyterian, EMP, or my own home blend concoctions that have a nice balance of Virginia, Oriental and Latakia (with the occasional sprinkling of Perique).

For variety I pick either a light burley-based aromatic, or a straight VA (flake or ribbon).

No fallback here. I usually have several jars/tins open at once and pull from one of those. I don’t think I’ve ever had a particular blend get pulled back into the lineup immediately after finishing a tin. Too many that things to choose from, for better or worse.
