Your Approach When Finding Your White Whale?

Well,finding a white whale is always a special day for me..I own 3 pipes in 400-500$ range and 3 from 500-750$..Yes they are worth every penny to me..They sure are cheaper than several 7000$ guitars I like too or single action revolvers ..On the other side I drive 23 years old truck which saves me tons of money and I do not have to pay any rent, my place is paid off..So at the end it is not that bad to get a white whale once in a while...
