Ok this is a three-parter..
1. If you had to choose, would you rather smoke one pipe(I mean a specific model and brand), but different tobaccos, for the rest of your life, or would you rather smoke just one tobacco but switch out pipes?

2. If you had to choose Option 1, which pipe would you choose?

3. If you had to choose Option 2, which tobacco would you choose?

1. I can't imagine anyone on this forum would pick Option 2. I feel like so much of the joy of pipe tobacco is in its diversity: from pure Virginias to complex English blends, so many different kinds of delicious out there to just pick one blend.

2. The One Pipe to Rule Them All would be this Nate King meerschaum prince with a titanium band:

I mean, if you're only going to have one pipe, at least it'd be interesting to see how a meerschaum colors over its lifetime.

3. And if I was forced at gunpoint to pick ONE tobacco for life, it'll have to be Frog Morton on the Bayou. What can I say, I'm a perique freak!

It would have to be Option 1, many blends from one pipe.

1. One pipe would have to have a wide chamber. Probably my GBD 9493, but there are others in my collection that would work.
2. Haunted Bookshop Cake ready rubbed, which is better known as "just" Haunted Bookshop.
2. Oh but I get to cheat, so make it HH Mac Baren Old Dark Fired. They have to bring it back just for this fantasy.
