I’ve done it with a Pete 309 and only Capstan Blue averaging 3 bowls a day for 9 months in a Desert.
I could easily do it again!
I only flip/flop blends out of boredom really and have found that sticking with just one works if it’s a good one.
I have 3 Peterson 309 pipes I smoke routinely. Usually smoke all 3 each day. Great pipe to use. I may even buy another to add it into the rotation, like to let the pipes rest after each smoke.

But the answer remains the same. Mac Baren Plumcake.

All my roads seem to be moving this way anyway which is one pipe one tobacco (Escudo in a Pete Rathbone). That's where I'm at now, I'm sure it will change. Too much variety makes me anxious and unable to enjoy what I have sometimes. If I knew it was just one tobacco, I could really learn to love it well.

Ok this is a three-parter..
1. If you had to choose, would you rather smoke one pipe(I mean a specific model and brand), but different tobaccos, for the rest of your life, or would you rather smoke just one tobacco but switch out pipes?

2. If you had to choose Option 1, which pipe would you choose?

3. If you had to choose Option 2, which tobacco would you choose?
1. One tobacco and switch out pipes
2. Eric Paulson Devil Ance
3. Lane's BL/WB Burley Light

I have rethought my previous answer to this OP……
The answer remains, plumcake.

I would choose one pipe: Dunhill 4103 Straight Billiard, preferable sandblast.

If I had to choose one tobacco it would be My Mixture 965.

80% of all pipes of tobacco I smoke is My Mixture 965 in a Dunhill Group 4 billiard.

1: One pipe with any tobacco, no doubt about it. I think I'd be fine with that.

2: Missouri Meerschaum bent hardwood Diplomat

3: Because Newminster 400 is gone now, probably Carter Hall. Neither are extremely exciting, but they're always good. Anything would get old after a while.

As infrequently as I smoke, I could live with one pipe and one blend if I had no other options.
