@The Amish Tyrant I've already been getting some practice in!
I found out from the event organiser that they use Clan for the competition so I got a packet to practice with.
But I would like to see how long I can make a clay pipe of baccy last without relighting!
I notice the Condor packet in the pipe smoking championship video; I must have smoked a few packets in my clay pipes...

I was thinking more of slugs with racing stripes, but this will do it.
You are the clay king since exclusively smoking clay pipes, competing in fast smoking events (I believe seeing you say that), attempting to slow down, and participating in reenactments similar to renaissance fairs in the States (but a different period).

Over an hour and twenty minutes on one average size bowl of tobacco! I would love to know what the bend is.
A re-enactor portraying William Cavendish I met at Bolsover Castle said he made his clay pipe of baccy last over an hour!
I mentioned above that I would love to know what blend they use for their contest. I tried searching the web with no luck. Maybe one of our UK friend knows or could find out. If so, please share the info with us.
