Fully hand made, fully for fun.Looking for the best briar available here in italy.Near 30 hours of work.Probably too big for smoke. What you think?

We usually prefer (here in europe) small pipes. But to get fun, for me it's necessary to use all the briar possible and at the same time to follow what the flame says.Of course i'm making for my all-day use smallest pipes than this one.Fortunately to get good aged briar here it's easy

Regards and thank you for the opinion, will post soon some other pipe

those are beautiful pieces of work. I was hoping the first one would have a bowl size to match its size... talk about and all day smoke.

Looks like you've been making pipes for a while, got your own stamp and everything.
Top notch work man. They look like they would fetch a pretty price. Would love to see more of that art deco style. I don't recall seeing a whole lot of that going on in the pipe world. Could be your "niche". But I could be wrong, maybe it's been done. What the hell do I know i'm approaching 3 months old in the pipe world. I'm a baaaaaaaaby. :nana:

I started on making pipes just for fun from less than a year.I bought my "own" stamp for more than 350 dollars because i liked to get a complete work. Some guys asked me for buy some of the works i made, but i can't decide to sell them. They're pieces of my heart and i know it's difficult to get money enough to pay the time i usually spend to carve a pipe.I worked on restoring old furnitures before to came something like a pipemaker, so i know the wood and briar it's nothing else than wood. Thanks to all for the appreciation,I will post, if i will not bore you, some other pipe next

At finally i have to apologize for my not perfect english writing
