No need to get haughty about horti...Here was some spam posted by an entity named "horti"
Naa, more down to earth... Professional horticulturalist for my sins. Yeah, and dead thread? Was actually looking for wooden spills for someone else and came across this site. Did an oops (moderator) and put up a link to where these can be sourced online. Did notice that Catholic Church suppliers also stock, but at many times the price of elsewhere... Oh, and in case anyone's interested, they're far better at lighting a wood stove than those rip-off long-necked gas lighters. So, ifs ya want a fume free, first drag on that tobacco - get some wooden spills! Long, thin pieces of wood for thems not in the know - it's what they used back in the clay pipe days before matches were invented and 'phossie girls' had the pleasure of making them.No need to get haughty about horti...
...that was just irresistible.
Haha, if I'd replied in broad Scots (was a tad tempted, seeing as it is Hogmanay), you would all be scratchin' yer heids! No worries about the delete - totally get it.We- or rather I- am gunshy when a new poster puts in a link to anything.
If you'd like to stick around, please introduce yourself in the thread for that.
We can always use more Scots here.
