Ok, here is the link, you can skip the first 10/12 mins that is in Italian and get to the interview in English
(A full 100% English version will be out early next week)

I kindly ask the admin to remove the message if it is against the rules

I finally got to watch the English version on YouTube this evening on “Big Apple Pipes.” Fantastic interview of Per Georg Jensen with a load of international industry insights.

I got to sit and smoke with Per in the tent in Chicago this year and he was quite the gentleman and just a joy to be around. I will shake his hand and thank him for this interview the next time I see him. The Youtube host is a great ambassador for the pipe hobby, also, and the most pipe-savvy host on that format I’ve watched. He’s the real deal.

I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kind words, maybe I should try again to regularly post content in English :)

Your knowledge of tobacco blends and the industry in general was very impressive. I’m a long time pipe smoker who loves to see interesting pipe content on YouTube and Instagram. I for one would welcome any new content from you.

In fact, even before your post above, I sent the link to your Per Jensen interview to several other pipe content hosts. Your English is very good and it’s obvious you’ve spent time in the states.

I am wondering what tax write offs they were able to apply in Denmark. It might very well be that the investment “loss” will help eliminate many possible tax liabilities the company faced previously. Leonard made the decisions but he did so using data. He comes across as intelligent. I am sure STG considered wisely before acting. We will see. To be continued …
STG which is a publicly listed company didn’t even make an announcements to the stock market so the $70 million buy price had no bearing, perceived or otherwise on the day trading value of STG. They just eliminated a large competitor and it had no bearing on share price is just incredible, quite difficult to believe actually.

Jeremy McKenna, the outgoing CEO of Sutliff, gave a straightforward interview today on the Kaywoodie podcast that kind of completes the story. It’s an interesting hour listen.
Yes it is. At the beginning there's some discussion about the FDA becoming active in enforcing their Deeming rules, announced back in 2016 and delayed by lawsuits brought about by anti-smoking groups who didn't want ANY path forward for approving new tobacco blends. If that's the case, it may have an impact on blends that did not go through the process because manufacturers thought it was a dead issue.
