understood. It's like some people want a car with handsfree bluetooth, heated seats mirrors and steering wheel, all the bells and whistles. and some people just want something to get from A to B. personal preference

My wife and I both have texting blocked on our phones. People think its weird but we both find texting annoying. The guy at the version store looked at me like I was from mars when he saw the texting was blocked and asked if he should turn it back on. I said hell no leave it the way it is! I have one friend who keeps trying to text me. She will ask,"did you get my text?" I have told her a hundred time I have it blocked just call me.

Texting serves a purpose. To send directions. Or to send a message that dont require a conversation. But I dont have text conversations.

I have a love/hate relationship with my iPhone. I love all the things you can do with it, but I hate that I always have to carry it for work. Everyone knows I have it with me, so ignoring personal texts/calls is rarely an option unless I'm driving. I get anywhere from 50-70 work emails a day, and I've topped 100 often.

I use my iPhone for work a lot as well. My work is mostly phone calls or emails, mostly emails, updating projects or ordering materials. I like being able to get emails on my phone, because then I'm not confined to my house or laptop. I can actually go out and do errand runs and still have my email there with me.
