I mean, honestly, Jim has reviewed almost everything on that site, and I usually only just read his, because he's so darn brilliant at it. I usually discard other reviews.

For instance, Mac Baren 7 Seas Dark Blend, someone mentioned it was "chocolate, plain and simple". It is not. Not at all. Jim set everything straight and correctly. Jim is Tobacco Review.

There is a very well-known wine review site replete with "reviewers" starting their "reviews" with "this is the first time I've had this wine (not the vintage, but "the" wine)

Then proceeding onto a long spiel about a wine that they have just encountered for the very first time.

I look for names I recognise as regular contributors and whose opinions coincide with mine. That way I know that if they have review a blend positively, I will probably enjoy that as well.
