That's very nice. I know I only have one mini cob that doesn't seem to have aged well over a year or so. My pear pipe broke and the briar i inherited disappeared in the move :/

I have a member who is donating some more pipes to the cause so when I get those cleaned up I will keep you guys in mind.

This is what makes the pipe community so great. The generousity is endless. Not long ago, a member here gave me a lot of pipes and tobacco, a lot. I split it up with a friend of mine and I sent some stuff off to my brother. Way to go shaintiques, that is the mentality and behavior that keeps this place more of a community than a forum.

Great use of good smokeable pipes that have dropped out of the rotation. Most of us have a few of

those, and this is the perfect way to recycle them. I've culled mine for now, but will keep this in mind.

I have one Medico, I just started piping and I like it.

I have two corn on the cobs in my food dehydrator right now though, now if I could just find some bamboo sticks somewhere?

Thinking alternatives.
I also have a plaster of paris pipe I am making, I put that project on hold for now though.
So, until then, my Medico is the workhorse, in it's short life it's seen Balkan Sasieni, Brown Bogie, and Dunhill Nightcap.

Rsuninv sent me a lot of gorgeous pipes for you guys. Not Grabows either,(no offense Ed) top notch pipes. I will be contacting some of you guys who posted as soon as I get these cleaned up. I was amazed at each pipe I pulled out of the box this is a very generous donation.

One of the pipes I got from rsuninv. This one had a weird rusticated rim that I don't think was original, so I sanded that off, hit it with some medium brown stain and after a re-wax, deoxidation, and buff this bad boy is off to it's new home tomorrow. I've still got 4 pipes from the lot he sent to clean up and then they will be heading to new homes too!

Ha Ha!

I have two pipes now, just made one from a piece of a maple tree and a stick from a bush.

It works, just needs a bigger hole in the stem.

I've been at it for a couple of years and still only have 3 pipes.. which usually ends up being enough, as I don't have time to smoke daily as I would like.
Great thing you've got going here, shain (and everyone who is donating pipes)!

Simply amazing, I wish all of you Brethern of the Briar ten fold in return for all the kindness this forum has shown me in the short 3 months I have been a member.
In fact, it's contagious, while fishing last week, started up a conversation with a fellow fly fisherman while sitting on a bank enjoying pipers pleasure by Boswells. This younger guy was puffing away at a cig and was asking about piping and the costs...conversation ended with me giving him one of my smokeybear Trypis pipes and some captain black white. He was shocked I did this and I only added..."once you are of the coffin nails and converted, give this pipe and some tobacco to another cig smoker"
I only did this because of how strongly I feel about this hobby and the health benefits of getting yet one more nut off cigs and into a classier less costly hobby.
