More than just lumberjacks, I know several foresters that are or have been pipe guys, myself included.

Whenever I fill out a form that asks for occupation I always write "sportsman"

Self declared dictators are the best kind, I'm dictator of my home.

You have a fascination with dictators dont ya Andrew?

The cult of personality and ability to seize power makes for interesting anthropological study.

If this websites is any indication, it would appear that Babes also smoke pipes.

It seems like vintners and wine makers should smoke pipes. I know a couple on Long Island who

have a vineyard and quite a wine-making operation. I don't think they smoke, but I could see them

each with a pipe, cobs. It's just the thing at the end of a long day tending the vines, picking the grapes,

pressing them, tending the barrel rooms, etc. It is a world of work, but they seem to love it. Great

wine too, including sparkling with the niftiest tiny bubbles.

I'm a truck driver. Heck, I would smoke a pack of cigarettes in two days and switching to a pipe has allowed me to slow down and find time on long halls to actually enjoy a smoke.

Magicians, chefs, and rare book dealers. Museum curators, off-duty tour guides. What else?

I had a couple Chiefs in the Navy that would smoke a pipe occasionally. My first LCPO smoked a cobb when we were underway.

Steel executives. One of my uncles spent his entire adult career with various of the big steel companies. He

was educated as an engineer. He loved pipes and had some great ones. He offered clay pipes to guests.

It might be a bit cliche, but I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist (with a beard) and started smoking a pipe in 1970.
