Which Forum Member Do You Want To Meet?

It would be far easier to list the people I wouldn't enjoy meeting as the people at this forum seem like a fine bunch. I hope the Chicago Pipe Show happens in 2021 and forum members make every effort to attend. The pipes and tobaccos are great but the best part of the shows is meeting all the fellow Pipe smokers.

I figured we could have a good-natured thread and show some kindness to our fellow forum members. So, which forum member would you like to meet in person? Maybe you think they’re interesting, funny, a character, a wealth of knowledge, etc.

I’ve met a few forum members already and they’re all great, but I would love to meet @cigrmaster. His posts are hilarious, detailed, and just epitomize that pipe smoker vibe. I could spend hours going through his post history reading his posts (I haven’t done it yet, but it sounds like it would make for some free time well spent). Once I start reading his posts I’m immediately hooked and can’t stop reading. Would love to have a bowl with him and hear some stories.

His home grown is very good. I believe his secret to marriage is to find a very, very forgiving and understanding lady. That's all I can figure out. I have met Cosmic.

You should have heard Harris when I called him to tell him what I said about him on this thread. He laughed like hell, and we had a blast chatting for about an hour. I noticed he didn't deny the accuracy of my previous statement about his hygiene. Hhhmmmmmm........ ?

I'm with Hoosier on this one. So many great folks on here, friendly and knowledgeable guys, grumbly and charming old codgers. The humor, warmth and camaraderie found here is unique.

I'm going to say something maybe controversial: none, despite beginning to feel I know a few hints of some regular posters' personality here, and thinking they're fun people to hang out with.

Having been active on several fora over 25 years, and having been to many forum meets I found that often it's best if you don't ever see the real person. In forums we present ourselves as we want, we write whenever we want, real life is more complicated!

I think you live in Regina, right? You're only 8 hours drive away, much closer lol. Actually my family was planning on going to Saskatchewan next summer. The kids have never been further east than Mundare, home of the giant sausage. If we do go that way I will for sure message you to meet up. ??
