I've not had it yet so I can't comment, though the series sounds intriguing to me.
I SAW THEM.THANK YOU

That's considered yelling, in case you aren't aware. Kevin asks that we try to use proper grammar and punctuation in our posts and thread titles; it's a mistake that we often make today it seems and I don't think his reply was personal at all, if you took it that way.

Back to topic; Russ shared the MM blends with us at one of our club meetings. We all were forewarned so we all brought cobs with us. We all pretty much agreed that the 4 blends are winners and cob fans should be happy with them.

It's hard to believe that it took so many years for MM to offer cob specific blends

Is this the same stuff that came in the PTOM for June? If so I find it pretty enjoyable. I could see it being a good while I work in the shop tobacco.

I never had the English one. All the others, not including great dane were awesome. I totally can't stand aromatic tobacco.

I did not take his comments personal at all. I did see all of them and am impressed very much by them, therefore in trying to keep to the grammar rule, I mistakenly caps locked the whole sentence. Darn LG phone here.

More about the mm blends. I think that they smoke well in any pipe, and therefore should not be considered a corn cob tobacco, just a great, not too expensive tasty tobacco .

I enjoy "American Patriot". A solid blend, fills in all the necessary corners, and smokes well. The price is right, and I plan on purchasing more. I can only assume that if your tastes run to what the other blends promise, you wouldn't be too disappointed.

When Russ brought the MM blends to the Lehigh Valley Pipe Club meeting, it was like watching kids in a candy store. No, more like all of us sharing dinners in a Chinese restaurant. Reaching across the table to get the bag of blend that hadn't been tried yet "You try the blend with Perique? It's great...how's the Latakia blend...what's that going to be called, Russ? I have to order that one". We talked tobacco, flavor, the influence that a cob has on a blend, and peppered Russ with all kinds of questions about his delicious blends. That was a great evening.

I tried the Great Dane and really enjoyed it. I need to get some more of this.

All four of them great in a cob. P&C ran a special where you could get 4 nice-sized cobs and a 2 oz pkg of each of these tobaccos, so you could dedicate a cob to each blend. Of course, I don't think the tobacco police would give you a hard time if you were to smoke them in an Old Dominion cob--IMHO a cob the greatly improves the flavor of any tobacco you put in it. Unless you happen to be in Missouri, of course, in which case you might find their tobacco police on your tail.

Definitely ... it seems to be a cobs destiny almost.
I'll smoke anything blended by Russ
Second that Russ ... your English/Balkan's are perfectly blended.
