I was all happy to see a What's your favourite beer thread, opened it up and I'd started it! Some good selections here. I'd love to try some Westlveteren, but like Mick says, good luck finding it in the States. Pacifico is my favourite Mexican beer, and it's available, much better than Corona or Dos Equis, in my opinion. I think more important than the beer is the company. If I was out fishing with lonestar, his Natural Light would be the tastiest beer in the world, but when we got back to camp and were frying up the crappie, my McChouffe would also be the tastiest. Most any beer by yourself is good ;)

Celis White from Austin's a good wheat beer. Excellent with food. Just don't tell 'em it's spiced with coriander and orange peel or they'll think you're offering them a wine cooler.

Pretty much anything Belgium. I have been loving Sixpoint Resin @ 9.1% and 103 IBU I usually enjoy only one or two at a time.

Just like tobacco, can't narrow it down to just one, but an all purpose all time favorite would be this
franziskaner-hefe-weissbier-hell.jpg

I used to like Becks for an all purpose when the German-made one was available. They're brewing it in the States now and sad to say that it now has the specific "cheap beer" flavour to it. Also, you get ripped on the cans, they used to be 500 ml and now they're a pint, about an ounce less beer for the same price 8O

Not a big drinker but I do enjoy a Guiness every once in a while. I also like Gulden Draak and Lambic of all kinds
