If a product, like shampoo or soap has a sandalwood option, I will get it. I just like the woodsy scents. I don't wear a cologne daily or anything.
However, years ago, I bought some Victor@Rolf Spice Bomb cologne, and my kids all think it's my favorite now, so each Christmas I get a bottle. Pretty pricey, but for a Church/wife date cologne, it's a pretty good one.

LIve Bearded and Outlaw are pretty proud of their products. I find that Honest Amish beard oil works fine for a lot less.
Honest Amish is fantastic. I always have a bottle open. Super high quality components - no junk. Not at all inferior to pricier options except in scent options.

HA is my default, and I use LB when I'm going to be out.

Honest Amish Premium is one of my favorites. It smells like pencil shavings and reminds me of grade school.

I'll actually make a non-smart a$$ed contribution to this thread. I like Florida Water and Pinaud Bay Rum. Interested to try the Osage Rub referenced previously. I've used Pinaud Clubman in the past but not in years, might revisit that one. Can't stand Lilac Vegetal.

What I really want is one that smells like Bob's Chocolate Flake. The shave soap I use kind of smells like Ennerdale.

I hadn't worn much cologne in the past, but I wanted to immerse myself in it again, and at the beginning of the year, I signed up for Scentbird where you get a sample bottle every month or every other month to try, and I found some true winners - one of which I snagged a whole bottle of on my recent cruise in the duty-free shop - Versace Eros:

But I find I dig the Parfums de Marley scents

Both Percival and Layton

And on the runner up - Trufitt and Hill Lime Cologne

Incidentally, I have 3 invites for sentbird that I think get you something for free - I don't think it benefits me - DM me if you want one.

I follow this guy on youtube and he also digs Parfums de Marley

Side note at no extra charge: I don’t trust a man who wears too much cologne.
I've always believed the only people who should smell my cologne are those I let get really close to me. Can't tell you the number of times I've gone out with a woman who was surprised I was wearing cologne when the night was ending (or not).
