I only cellar Virginia Flakes and VA/PER flakes or rounds. I only cellar ones that I like fresh, or ones that I can tell by tasting will most likely improve with age.
I worked for the fellow in the 1980s who smoked Dunhill light flake, but only after it had two or three years of age on it. I tried Dunhill light flake and did not care for it very much, but smoke some of his aged light flake and found it was much better than the fresh Dunhill light flake, that's when I became a fan of aging tinned tobaccos.
I don't smoke aromatics, latakia or oriental mixtures simply because I do not like them. I have smoked some aged English blends that were actually pretty good. It seems that Latakia does age fairly well in some mixtures, but I would probably only smoke one or two bowls per year, so it hardly seems worth the effort for me to cellar an English mixture.
