I'm a touch panicked about the fate of War Horse Bar and War Horse Green myself, and I still haven't even gotten to try WhiteKnight yet!
Bud, I looked and looked. It was on FB and i saw it like 4 days ago, but it might have been posted a couple days prior than that. The majority of the post and replies were stuff we had already posted and discussed on here previously, which is why I took notice when I saw that about Russ and the mention of toasted Burley. Again, that info could have been wrong which is why I put a caveat on it when I posted it here. It's alright, thank you for looking nonetheless! I think next month when I've got a little more wiggle room with finances after Christmas I'm just gonna pick up a pound of War Horse Bar and War Horse Green if I can find them in stock anywhere, since they're such "acquired taste" sort of blends that I can't imagine they're big sellers for Sutliff and would probably end up on the chopping block even if they weren't Russ Ouellette blends. I'm not generally prone to panic buying, but those are two blends I'd like to have around for as long as I can reasonably afford to.
If I were able to go on a FOMO induced spending spree, I’d personally stock up on 507c slices and their balkan sobraine white knight bulk thing (I forget the blend name). But that’s to my tastes…actually in second thoughts, I’d go deep on Newminster 400 and 403. They are made by Macbaren.
My only recommendation to contribute to this discussion is Voodoo Queen.
I’d say if you are a fan of any of the match blends, those are going by the wayside soon.
I know 507C has been a relatively popular comment on this thread.

Already out of stock at most sites. As much as I like Virginia blends. I could never get into 507.
I agree, I just couldn't get into it. But, I have many other flakes set back.
Unfortunately, Russ hasn't posted here since Apr 16, 2021, and hasn't checked in since July of this year.

Russ and I exchanged messages through email in August... I was asking for some blending advice, to take my hobby to the next level. He was so kind and very responsive. I did also take the opportunity to rave about War Horse Bar (Red) and some other blends he is responsible for...
