That is the last pipe I bought! Ok, technically I bought 2 others since then but I haven't received them yet. Smokes fabulously and is worth the angry looks from the wife. Just tell her you wanted something that would remind you of how beautiful she is.

re: my wanting a 1942 Peterson. It would be my birth year pipe. They are few and far between. Due to the Second World War, briar was impossible to get. Peterson's made a few bog oak and clay pipes. If Mike Leverette is correct, all the bog oak pipes were sterling silver mounted and hallmarked. I have never seen a war time Peterson's.

Seriously, that's a pipe that would do your login name proud, Mr. Brandybuck.

"Hi guys

my next pipe i would like to purchase is a castello sea rock when i have saved a few pounds

what about you"
A Castello is always good, especially if you smoke English. Try to find a nice old one and you won't regret it.

Still don't have the funds currently. I only have enough to buy beer for the long weekend.

One day, I really want a Rad Davis Squashed Tomato. I think that the whole aesthetic package says it all, the problem is, I have also got a lust for a Steven Downie Calabash.
Ho Hum.

In the link I have listed above I didn't understand the word "clear", so I called smoking pipes. They said it was A clear finish and not waxed, how bad is this. I have heard that anything other than wax is not good, please help. My trigger finger is itchey.
