That's the question... gimme some ideas and thanks in advance :)
If you already have a number of pipes I wouldn't buy a $200 pipe. I would save a little or a lot more and buy one that is far from the common pipe. Something of high quality. What I would not do is buy online, I would go where there is variety and I can take a good look at the pipe before buying.

I buy my pipes based on what tobacco I plan on smoking in it. If I plan smoking nothing but flakes, I buy a group 4-5 sized pipe with some nice thick walls. For 200 I would buy an estate Brian Ruthenberg or a Rad Davis pipe, or maybe a Bruce Weaver. It makes no sense to buy a pipe that doesn't make your tobacco taste as great as possible.
