Einstruzende Neubauten is one of my favorite bands, but I'd never heard their first album until tonight. Damned weird, even for them. They're a German experimental-punk-metal-rock band headed up by Blixa Bargeld, an old croney of Nick Cave. I have a rather large and wide-reaching collection of music, but these guys are well outside of my typical phonosphere.
