Does the new Radiohead album remind anyone else of Pink Floyd? Perhaps Wishing You Were Here?

Jmatt, Radiohead have reminded me of Pink Floyd ever since OK Computer. I actually used to have a copy of an old article about them that was title "punk Floyd" so apparently we are not the only ones.

I remember going to see both the Stray Cats and Bow Wow Wow at separate clubs in Memphis back in the early 80s. Both great shows. I hate that Bow Wow Wow have basically been reduced to a sort of one hit wonder novelty item. They were a great live band.

Yes we were standing at the front of stage on the dance floor and she was wearing a very short mini skirt. That memory is burned into my brain. And thank you for reminding me.

Yes Peter Gabriel is awesome. Another great cover song on that album is listening wind by talking heads. Although that is probably as much a Brian Eno song as talking heads.
Also maifair you pulled out a very cool and eclectic collection there. Love kraftwerk.....and also used to have that Rufus album on 8 track which of course is long gone now. I almost bought a used vinyl copy of it Friday. Strange coincidence that you played it on here so soon after that.
