Lost Tracks is great! I haven't listened to it in a good while though.
I got into Samhain first as well. I was at Vans Warped tour back in the 90s when they still had good bands. I bought a load of random albums from a vendor- Stuff I couldn't find in my tiny town and we were too poor to have the internet(select few had it in the 90s where I was from) so finding good punk/metal was tough as a kid. I bought November Coming Fire because it was the coolest artwork I had ever seen. The only Misfits album I had at the time was Famous Monsters, so I still had no idea who Glenn was. haha Love it all now though.
Yeah. Black Acid Devil was a weak effort. It had one really good song, but the rest was a mess. Generally considered his worst record.
And I always enjoyed Black Aria.

Good talking, man
Also, Ever hear of Son of Sam? Bunch of the past members of Samhain and Danzig formed a band. Davey Havoc from AFI was the front man (it was in his pre-douche era) It's worth a listen. Has that Samhain vibe, though Havoc is truly a poor man's Glenn.
