https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ew0XWd-blwE&t blame my love of games, but the Halo ODST sound track is great, smooth jazz, bit of soft instrumental. I do prefer the version with the quiet storm in the background as it fits the mood of the game better. listening to it and smoking one of my new pipes with some smoker's pride Vanilla Cav n' bag

I can honestly say I have not listened to enough Jerry Harrison. Nice pick JBC.

I can't swing a jazz tune without hitting a Gerry Mulligan arrangement or performance though. Love his work, especially with Chet Baker and Miles Davis. :)

Charlie Parker - Loverman - Was so 'out of it' he had to be held up for this take. Next up, Grover Washington - Masterpiece

I once talked my wife in to going to this little dive club in Memphis because I heard through the grapevine that Jerry Harrison was playing there on a weeknight. Turned out it was Busta Jones who was playing. Jerry was in town producing his album at the time. But it turned out to be a hell of a show anyway. And after all how often do you get to see someone who was on Eno's first album play live in a little dive bar. Busta is from Memphis by the way.

And now for something completely different...

I was listening to some Rembetika (Greek Blues) and remembered I had a CD of Bluesman Louisiana Red, on slide guitar, and Stelios Vamvakaris, one of the great Greek bouzouki players. Here's the tune, "A Fantasia To Power"
