I’ve got that Cat Steven’s album too. Good tunes. My recent listening choices: Callas singing Carmen, and although I have a few versions of this, Maria Callas has the best voice for it in my opinion. Cat Stevens, Tea For The Tillerman, some of his best songs on an unbelievably good recording of them. Stand out sound from 1970 no less!

I had no idea who Heart was until I saw them in concert in 1976. Loved their stuff and bought a few of their albums, especially liked Dog and Butterfly.1977, Heart, Little Queen. You can just hear the Led Zeppelin influence all over this one. Grungy hard folk rock, with a little of that goddess magic goin’ on.
Probably due to splitting up with girlfriends over the years, I ended up with three of these albums in my collection, ha ha.

Now I have the song Big Country stuck in my head. This made me remember these guys who brought the didgeridoo into a new genre.1983- One hit wonders, the Scottish rock band, Big Country, wove bagpipes and melodic lyrics to reach #3 on the UK charts. In the US we inly remember their one song, Big Country. And, if they hadn’t of reformed the group in 2013 and made one more album they would have been one shot heroes.

That's another one that will transport you right back to the '70s.
Very cool. That's a great incorporation of the didge into that genre. Now I have the song Big Country stuck in my head. This made me remember these guys who brought the didgeridoo into a new genre.
It makes a great rhythm section.Very cool. That's a great incorporation of the didge into that genre.
I have a collection of about 20 didgeridoos. I used to import them from Australia back when the exchange rate was really good in the early 2000s.
Such a fun band to see live. Only seen em as a group twice, but man it was awesome. I see Larry Keel at least 3 times a year though - one of my favorites. Surprised to see this posted haha

John Scofield isn't too shabby of a guitar player either. One of the greatest living drummers in my opinion, right there behind Larnell Lewis from Snarky Puppy. Some awesome jazz compositions on this 2019 release
