We are getting serious now. We are into "Siegfried" the third opera that is the crown jewel (IMHO) of Wagner's Ring Cycle. This opera culminates in Seigfried, the son of the Walsung. going into the fires that Wotan set around Brunnhilde to keep all but the bravest of men from rescuing her. This opera is simply incredible. Next is the finale of the Cycle, "Gotterdammerung". "The Twilight of the Gods" is its English translation.
