Lately, I've really been favoring instrumental acoustic music. Some of it can be hit or miss, but I recently found an album called 'Arrival' by Devin Rice & Erin Aas that I've been listening to on repeat. They're both instrumental acoustic guitarists, but there is some light piano, cello, and other accompanying instruments mixed in here and there. Every song is unique and it's a perfect album to play in the background for doing some house chores, having a pipe, or just enjoying a quiet afternoon. I particularly like this song:

Played three more new to me Mark Knopfler albums today, Shangri-La, Kill To Get Crimson and a previously unreleased album called Gravy Train which contains all the B sides from 1996-2007. All good listening but Shangri-La is by far the better of this trio from this 6 CD box set.

Regards,

Jay.
I'm a huge Knopfler fan. I love the way he turns a phrase and tells a story, even back in the Dire Straight years.
