I would love to get my grubby paws on a Tom Eltang "Eskimo". At the price they trade for, this is highly unlikely to happen.

That's why you're a 'Preferred Memeber" @anthonyrosenthal.
I'm actually surprised the mods haven't changed mine to read, "Amazingly Annoying Member."
Coldsmoke, I'm not normally a fan of the eskimo, but that thing is stunningly beautiful!

A birth year Dunhill would be cool, but I don't consider that a unicorn since it's actually attainable. If I had a unicorn it would be this pipe:

That's my great-grandfather on his porch in Muskegon, MI, around 1910. I doubt the pipe still exists. My dad's cousin has some of his stuff, but I haven't asked her if she has his pipe.

I've been after an Ed Burak Connoisseur in this shape for well over a decade - Ed told me that he himself called this shape a bulldog. I find enough other Buraks coming up for sale, but never one of these. So the story goes, Tom Eltang saw one of these in the now closed shop in NYC, and from there his Eskimo shape was born.
