The OP asked if you had to keep just one, which would it be? I can't see keeping a beautiful pipe —and perhaps very expensive—as are the above, if I don't know how it actually smokes for me.
jpmcwjr, consider this. Jesse took several pics of the pipe for me when he finished it, and the pic I posted os one of those original pics. Since then, I have smoked 17 tins of McCranie's Red Flake out of that little brandy, and I'm currently smoking the 18th tin.
At this point, I am fairly certain it is an excellent smoker, that has never once gurgled. :puffy:

The answer would depend on which blends I wanted to most enjoy as no one pipe can do justice to both Balkan/Oriental/English on the one hand, and Virginia/VaPer/Va/Bur on the other. So I can't rightly answer this hypothetical based on actual smoking performance vs looks, and will politely pass.

Since I don't have a great knowledge of these brands I would be very grateful if everybody can post even the picture of the preferred pipe!

For me, I am not still able to choose among my pipes.

Great picture, Bradley. As for the question, my favorite is a 1957 Wilke bent apple. But it is too oversmoked to be a single pick.

If I were limited to only one of my pipes, I'd choose my Savinelli 611 KS. It's one of two bent pipes I own, and I like bent more than straight pipes.

A volcano bjarne viking classic with a red glaze. I'd take that over my $200 pipe any day. I'll see if I can get a pic once my phone is charged.

Wyfbane, tell me about that crazy looking pipe at 3 o clock, whats the deal with that? does moisture collect in the bottom of that stem chamber thing? looks intriguing.

My JM Boswell deep spiral freehand. A perfect fit in either hand. The stem is a pearlized wine color, and the pipe is much darker now from extensive use.

Isaac, bonehed is right. That is a 50's Dunhill Cavalier. The bottom is threaded and you put a bit of cotton in there to collect moisture. I love that pipe. That picture is of my favorites in my collection last fall.

Pipesdownunder, that bent egg is a fabulous looking pipe.
Wyfbane, I have seen pipes like that (the Cavalier) but did not realize the function for sure. Sounds like it would be a excellent smoke, and a great feel in the hand.

I'm almost positive that the OP question was mistyped. It should have been "If you could have one collection, whose would it be?" Mine would be tbradsim1. I'll forward you my address. :)
As for my pipe, I would have to say my Jacopo Compta bent dublin.

Though my love for brylons is strong, for me it would have to be my 1970's MM Country boy. Bent stem, seasoned well with Killarney from Ted's Pipe Shop in Tulsa, OK. Was my Grandfather's. Wondeful pipe.
