What Is/Was Your Occupation?

I've held a few jobs since leaving the service including being a commercial truck driver and working on a tug boat.

Today I am a High School Social Studies teacher & bi-vocational pastor.

Most of my adult life I was a "copper." I've been a gandy dancer, worked in Russia putting together a "joint venture" security company, a retail clerk, warehouse man, wildlife photographer, loadmaster, lots of interesting and not so interesting stuff.

Spent 8 years enlisted in the Navy and finished my degree taking night classes and correspondence classes when I could (no internet back then). Got out and went to Med school. Now a pediatric surgeon (writing in a pipe smoking forum...don't judge)

I drive a semi into little tiny parking lots to deliver food and paper products to fast food, pizza joint, and fast food for people who want to pretend they're not eating fast food(panera bread).

I deliver auto parts to mechanics.

Been a home inspector for the last year or so. Most enjoyable job I’ve ever had, I dare say I might make a career of it.

Jack of all trades and master of none. Everything from F-16 mech, welder/fabricator, heavy truck diesel mech, information systems specialist to unmanned aircraft operations. Currently as a fleet tech for a world wide beverage/food distribution company.

No, just a long-time fan of his particular kind of genius.

I spent years working for several gov. agencies doing security work. Retired and did private security work and consulting/training. Now I play cowboy/fly fishing guide and a little local security work on call. Getting slower as I age. Selling the ranch and moving to a lake in Alabama to be the local grumpy old man.
