IT STOPPED. YOU’RE WELCOME.

I BET YOU’LL HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION SOON THAT CAN’T BE ANSWERED BY GOOGLE.
Hah. I've had similar thoughts about our friend Leroy. But then, I admire that he's still posting despite being piled-upon. And if he gets people talking, even if only to answer such questions, that's already a good thing.

Frog Morton died in a tragic rafting accident. He was just headed across the pond, but ended up on the Bayou after a night on the town. His cellar was raided by people from the Blue Mountains, lead by the Balkan beauty, and the contents can still be found on the black market. We're still hoping the Yenidje Highlander will be able to track down those responsible and dole out swift justice with his dark star. Last report said he was hot on their trail in St. James Woods, or possibly Virginia Woods. We still mourn his loss on the anniversary of the event. We all try to keep the holiday spirit but there sure has been a lot less Christmas cheer since it happened. Frog was a beacon of quality and one of the true legends.
It would take a master penman to describe everything he meant to us.
Was that before or after his 40th Anniversary?

Exactly.
Were it not for pipe forums I'd be asking "McClelland who?".
Maybe some forget how they were when they knew 1/5th of bugger-all about pipes and tobacco.

Some just like to put others down to compensate for their own inadequacies.

A forum search or google does not always find the answer or one has to wade through a heap of irrelevant links when it would be far simpler to ask here.
Is that not what a pipe forum is for, to help each other out?

Before I found the internet and pipe forums I didn't have half a clue [now I'm a freakn expert! ]
With hindsight at least I can laugh at what I didn't know.
I cured my own ignorance on the subject by asking some rather elementary questions. [Not sure if there's a cure for being a misery-guts]

Leroy, pay no attention to those who prefer to go to the effort of poking fun rather than simply answering the question.

Happens frequently.
Unless you believe all those questions are legitimate, and the asker can find this forum, have a stuck all caps key (except when it isn’t) and isn’t curious enough to google stuff.

Like I said, I have these thoughts too. It all seems very bizarre. I was especially skeptical of the caps thing. But the point is that if Leroy is a troll, then he's wasting his time and deserves pity more than disdain. And if he isn't, he's at worst a curiosity.
