You’ll be fine. But just throw the tin away geez it’s only $12, why would you want to smoke questionable tobacco? Ditch it
True, but all that smells bad isn’t bad for you to smell. Substances that are respiratory hazards, well that’s another story. Molds that are respiratory pathogens are probably better smoked than sniffed, since incinerating is the best way to kill spores.Lol while that’s true in a sense, there are plenty of things I smell that I am glad I’ve never ingested. Anyone’s whose changed a diaper or owned a pet knows what I mean.
It if was only $12 it’d be gone. But it was $185 . Regardless I guess it should go. I was hoping it was just an old smell. You’ll be fine. But just throw the tin away geez it’s only $12, why would you want to smoke questionable tobacco? Ditch it
Thems the breaks when you buy something oldIt if was only $12 it’d be gone. But it was $185 . Regardless I guess it should go. I was hoping it was just an old smell.

Like wine, you hope for something magical. And often it is.
But sometimes it‘s fit only to be poured into the sink
As @sablebrush52 said - old tins can be a craps shoot

Yup!These are the risks with 30 year old tobacco, don't think they were ever made with the intention to be held for that long.
Yup!
I loved the thread with Gawith’s rant taking umbrage to afficiandos “fapping about” thinking they can improve on the blender’s work
Could you please post the link to the thread you mentioned? It's a classic.
(Are you thinking of a reply from the head of Germain's?)
I stand corrected-it was the head of Germain’s thread I believe. At work so I doubt I’ll have time to search it up.Could you please post the link to the thread you mentioned? It's a classic.

Every time I read that, I am jealous of those British Tobacco companies. They have such assurance that their customers will continue to buy from then no matter what that they can just be outright assholes. To be so obtuse to the fact that their customers prefer their products aged, and be so arrogant about it also. I've just stopped buying anything from Britain.@jpmcwjr-I lied….I made time.
It was from 2015, and a great example of the Mandela Effect. “fapping about” has become a popular reference here to that quote, when it was “faff around”:
“
Dear Mr. Bakkus,
We manufacture our tobacco to be enjoyed at acquisition.
If you wish to "cellar" our blends, be it on your own head.
From our point of view, why would you want to faff around with our product?
We produce hand-made products only. Your contents may vary. That is all.
Please do not be a "cellarer" unless you are willing to admit that you think that you can do better.

Hey... everyone should be happy. This will leave a lot more on the table for those who are die hard fans.Wow, Cos, that's taking a stand, but at what cost!
However, I would pretty much give the same reply if asked and have done. Exactly this.@jpmcwjr-I lied….I made time.
