Used to smoke cigarettes. Now mainly pipes and an occasional cigar.
What're you usin for a wrap? I like this idea.I started with cigars 25 years ago or so, then gradually incorporated pipes. These days it's all pipes for me. Cigars are extremely rare now. I just get more enjoyment out of pipes and pipe tobacco. On a weird side note, I also roll my own cigarillos (?) using pipe tobacco. If I want a 15 minute smoke with my coffee in the morning, and that's all I have time for, I just have one of those.
My guess would be oxidation (that's what degrades the nicotine in vape juice)The nicotine content of cigars is something that I've been meaning to look into [Did not know that nicotine deteriorates/weakens with age - or does that have more to do with a change in pH levels?]
I use the 1 1/4 Zig Zag papers, just like a person would use to roll their own cigarettes, and a zig zag rolling machine (the two rollers with the plastic in between) to roll them. I also use the "Raw" brand tips. Works like a charm. They look just like a rolled cigarette and smoke surprisingly well this way. I use a straight Virginia when rolling these. I have to cut the tobacco a little bit to make it finer so it rolls up more consistently. Lately I've been using Ashton Gold Rush for these. Aromatics don't work as well in this format from what I've tried so far. English blends will work, but you will lose much of the complexity in the blend smoking them this way. VA's definitely work the best. What're you usin for a wrap? I like this idea.
I'm also still experimenting with different aromatics to try and find one that works well. Haven't tried a VApr yet, but that's on my to do list.I use the 1 1/4 Zig Zag papers, just like a person would use to roll their own cigarettes, and a zig zag rolling machine (the two rollers with the plastic in between) to roll them. Pipes are my thing.
Quit cigarettes 30 years ago, never going back to them.
Smoke maybe a couple cigars a year.
Pipes are really the only way I use tobacco.
Vapes are another excellent alternative to get off the dreaded cigarettes.I used to smoke cigarettes as well but quit them using vapes. I dropped pipes for a short while too to get off cigs. After a month of not smoking cigs, I tried one. I positively hated it and have had no desire for one since which was odd since I used to just crave them. I crave my pipe but not in the addiction way I did with cigarettes. I crave the peace and solitude I get with my pipe.
