I smoked one last month. Just like you I could not identify the band. Will be interested to know as well, if you find out.

I got mine in one of the samplers from JR I bought in Oct-Nov 2019
Grabbed this Macanudo off the shelf on a whim. Burns well, easy on the draw. Problem is, I can't identify it by the band. I don't see it online.

Help me...

LIned up for golf in a bit. Upmann Connoisseur No 1 and Juan Lopez No. 1. The extra Connie is for my SIL. Looking forward to both but the JL in particular. Under the radar but fantastic Cuban Robusto.

Juan Lopez is my favorite Cuban robusto, and one of my favorite cigars, period. They're f'n stellar.

H. Upmann 1844, A.J. Fernandez. As my profile says I am new to this, but I was surprised to find my first scent other than tobacco tonight. I don’t know if I am doing it right, or if it even matters as long as something is enjoyed. The flavor was real nice on this stick, medium and spicy. I kept getting a scent that I couldn’t find in the smoke after about the first quarter. At one point I put the lit cigar to my nose and smelled the wrapper itself. The warmth had brought out a real sweet smell that I really like. Took me about ten minutes to locate it in my memory. It was chocolate taffy, at least to me. I realize these things are subjective, but who would have thought a tootsie roll would end up in my cigar?. Those are the first thing that magically disappears from my sons Halloween bag each year.
