I received a Northern Briars Seashell pipe from my son,a pipe tool from my daughter and some tobacco from my wife.
I wish you a speedy recovery friend.
She's a beauty, do you know what species? I'm guessing a huntsman of some sort? Possibly from south east Asia?

She said it was listed as Australian. I'd like to find a redback or funnel-web like that.
I wanted to say Australian but thought it would sound cliche. Must be one of the bigger species they get up north in the tropics of QLD. You know, the proper spiders.
Gladly I'm too far inland to get funnel webs but redbacks are aplenty everywhere and very docile. I like too leave em to see how big they get before having to take care of them.
Ironically the daddy long legs will eventually move in and take care of that for me.

Posted in WAYS December thread yesterday, I got this lovely Savinelli 2024 Saint Nicholas billiard from my wife. I also got a gift card for Smokingpipes, who is having a sale on all pipes currently, so I need to do some shopping before the sale ends to make the most of it. I got a 2024 Peterson 221 Christmas pipe from the Warden and this cool leather pipe roll from my daughter.
My oldest always gives each one of us a themed trinket. Last year it was miniatures of our favorite foods. (Mine was tiny bottle of A1 Steak Sauce)
This year it was LEGO people. For me, Benny the Astronaut from the LEGO Movie, my favorite character in our favorite family movie.
This is an original 1980s figure made well before the movie came out, not a reproduction from the movie series. Greatly appreciated the effort she put into finding it. Good kid!

I like this one. I've seen some cool ones but this ones probably the coolest one I've seen.
This is a good one. There were a few of these at my local Cigar store, but they didn't have the billiard. I really like this pipe.
