Yesterday I assembled my grill.

Tonight smoked and grilled Ribs and Chicken, onions and mushrooms.... Mmmmm :D
Turned out great!
:laughat: To channel my inner Mr. Rogers.... "Can you say Feeding Frenzy?"
As for the little poem posted above... It was prophetic. It only took and hour to get it out of the box and 2 hours to assemble. My new grill is definitely worth that little investment of time. Should last for years.

One more thing. Looks like a dive watch, can't tell what kind though.
He went diving, I'm sure. It will take 3 Undertakers to wipe that smile off his face.

Started the day with a good shave and went to see a good surgeon who put me in a better brace and told me if I do not see improvement to go get a MRI and we would go from there . It is nice to have a surgeon you cam trust he did my daughters knee and my wifes . He also takes care of my other ankle which I had rebuilt in 1990. Went to lunch with the wife , who had to drive . Back to work in the morning already stir crazy .

Since I doubt we will get any more significant snow, I removed a crabapple log from the back of my truck and cut it up for turning blanks. Lots of mulch and firewood also.

up at 5.30, coffee and woke up here on this site. Drove to work and filled all the diesel heaters under the second floor concrete pour at the worksite. Read some blueprints at work to get a jump on monday. came home then drove back to do it over again before evening. Oh' and the melting and now freezing made the doors freeze shut on my old work crapper, had to climb in thru the back, cool huh. Tomorrow get to do it over again. (hate being the dependable one) and will work a few more hours grinding the floor smooth. If their going to take sat and sun might as well work some hours and make good double-time.
Pic of the Zero Energy school I'm building, sort of a prototype build here. Almost nothing is normal or straight, which means interesting but headaches. Pic is what it should look like completed. Cell pic of a print out, poor quality sorry.

Well I got up had coffee. Played with my two little boys. They attempted to help me and my wife clean the house. Then I made a wonderful supper for the whole family. Then I played with the kids again. And just put them to bed and right now enjoying a bowl.

Happy smoking! :puffy:

Up at OMG it's early 4:30 and headed to work. Last 8 hours before vacation. Tonight it's heading out to watch my blundering BlueJackets provide a mild 60 minute workout for the Canucks. :(
And tomorrow.....We are off to North Carolina!!! :nana:

Just trying to get moving today.

Friend of mine had Devo tickets last night.

Yeah, Devo, whip it good, Devo.

Can't say I was a fan before, but wow that really was an awesome show and a cool band. They threw lots of goodies out to the audience, beach balls, balloons, hats and the costumes they had on.

Highly recommend checking it out, even if you're not a fan. Might be one of the best shows I've seen really.

And anybody going should stand about 8 feet back from the stage, just a little to the right of center. Seemed to be where the most cool giveaways landed. And face it, catching a Yellow Jumpsuit with DEVO printed on it is a pretty cool souvenir.

Celebrated my mother's 73 birthday today.

The bad weather blew out just in time to fire up the grill.
Grilled 1" Hereford Ribieye's from the local butcher.

With Baked per-taters, Sautee'd Mushrooms, Baked Onions, home made baked beans, and cole slaw, tea. ( Both sweet and un-sweet after all this is the south.)
7 women and me. Glad I had to do the cooking. :D
