Went to COSTCO and picked up a new pair of prescription glasses-tri focals and NOW I can see my pipes and read the forums with ease! Hooray.

finished my 8 foot long subwoofer today:



Used black mirrored plexiglas for the sides, then fabricated an aluminum one piece grille and wrapped it with black grille cloth



Here is the final product under my 110 inch projection screen. The subwoofers are the famous Obsidian 18" models that travel about 3 inches peak to peak




Washed the two electric scooters my neighbor gave me to use in our facility, then added plastic milk crate baskets to the back of them for hauling stuff. Had a good day off, as I usually do on Fridays....love that 4 day work week :clap:

Emailed a manuscript to U. Mass press, the work of the last many months; went to a large international bluegrass festival tonight to

get my head out of re-writing.

repaired 20+ subwoofers at work today..cheap Chinese labor costing us back here in the US to fix their shitty workmanship.]
Delivered the office chair to my sons house tonite and went out to eat pizza with him and my grandson :D

Mailing off 14 copies of an anthology I'm in, to family and friends, and a box of birthday gifts to my sister.

Healing from a cough. No smoking for a day or two.

Then, I went downtown to look for a job.
Then, I hung out in front of the drug store.

Worked a 10 hour day repairing 75 pound subwoofers. Then ate supper with my son and grandson. :clap:

Went and picked up a Harmony remote control for a client's home theater project we are doing.

Had my brother-in-law and wife in from Reno all weekend. He's a HAM operator who has talked to all but 3 countries in the world. Went out to eat at a Hot Stone restaurant that brought out the steaks on a volcano rock at 400 degrees so every bite was hot, it is cooked rare, then the longer it stays on the rock, the more it's done...yummy :clap:

Today, I slept in, watched some Supernatural, watched the Lions play the Cowboys (Go Lions!), went out and ran some errands, stopped at a smoke shop and picked up some tobacco, tried it out when I got home, and now waiting to have a family meal. Great Sunday!!

Set up a lot of electric fence...need to clear some brush out before the horses get the run of the whole pasture. Really fun in the 8" of snow we just got that's melting!

Went to work, built 12 subwoofers ( 15" models ), waiting for a guy to show up to buy my 2500 watt PA amp I'm trying to sell, it weighs 72 lbs. I just bought a new one that weighs 7 lbs, same wattage.

so far - got a suit for my daughter's wedding. I'm now the proud owner of one suit. I got a big delivery of tobacco to store for my retirement and a shipment of 11 cases of wine which should see us through to the new year !!

Today after I got off of work, I bought my buddy his first pipe and smoked with him (it was his first bowl) and I'm glad to say I've recruited another young soul to our most loved hobby lol
