Condor is now made in Poland and sucks. Me and Weezell have become habitual smokers of Grannies Bath Mat tasting Plugs. We have both added a few more 'cutty' pipes to our ever expanding collections. In essence not a whole lot has really changed.

I've only recently taken up the pipe so can't comment on Condor being made in Poland now - it seems OK to me but prefer Gawith Hoggarth Cherry Vanilla / Black Cherry given the choice.
Condor does the job well when I fancy a smoke of tobacco in my clay pipes but it's all I could get locally!
I was introduced to Captain Black by a re-enactor I met a Bolsover Castle who shared his packet with me!!!

Peck I do have to thank you for that race we had on the Klondike Gold tins as it did get discomfited, I wasn't sure if you knew that but I am sitting very pretty as I am sure you are. I love that stuff.

Yep. When the stem was aligned with the shank on the '75, the mouthpiece was twisted 15-20 degrees to the left.You already threw one of those Dunhills away??? ?
Also curious to know about McClelland - a year or so ago things were getting a little crazy on the pricing front. Have things calmed down now on that front? I have a fair stash of Mc lends but it was getting to the point that the prices of some of the stuff in my stash was getting so high that I was starting to wonder whether I should really smoke the stuff. I mean, I really enjoy their blends, but there are many that are readily available that I enjoy just as much and are much cheaper.

eBay kind of cracked down on tobacco sales but if anything, the price of McClelland blends continues to rise.
