What a surprise to find it here Paul!
It is one of my favorite Toscano, unfortunately the "Intero" (whole) form it has not been produced for some time due to commercial choice.
They kept the "Ammezzato" (split) version with less ripening,

but in my opinion (although the company denies making any changes) it's a different blend.
I prefer the whole, in case I cut it in half ;).

Long Live the King lancero yesterday. Never had any of these and received it in a secret Santa bomb. Not a bad stick, but seemed to vacillate between brilliance and a bunch of earth and pepper. The floral sections of the cigar were memorable. It's worth grabbing a fiver to see how they develop.

'16 Fuente Añejo 888 today. Man, cannot wait to see what 10 or 15 years on these things is like. There is a persistent, subtle cherry note, I'm guessing from the wrapper. Añejo are outstanding cigars when I don't want a tour de force OpusX, but still want a cigar that's worth paying attention to.
