They just re-released these and I couldn't help but smoke one after a couple days in the drybox (after weeks in the mail).

Yes, I'm replying to myself. I logged into my Atlantic Cigar account for the first time in years and they have these on silly discount under "Direct Pricing." Inbound. This thing is amazing - maybe I'm a buffoon (I am), but it reminds me of a Dominican Aladino.

What a great picture! Makes me want to go stream trout fishing again. It's been years (time constraints have limited my fishing to fall steelhead). Fond memories of a few trips to MT...

Petite Aladino is just what I needed this afternoon

The weather is so nice I'm planning for another something after dinner
If you ever make it out to MT I know some great creeks to fish. How’s the steelhead fishing out there?

Thank you!

On the North (MN) shore of Superior it's not really my game. Rivers are steep and runs are in the spring. Ice out X flow X water temp come together for a fast and furious season that's quite popular.

On the South (WI) shore the grade is less, and fish come up in the fall and overwinter. I go here and swing flies for 'em.

Some would call them lake-run rainbows which is technically correct but they do chrome up in the lake and are fierce and wild. Any fish is a good fish, most are 20"-26", some are smaller, some go to 30". They are hard to catch :)

This Mi Querida 448 with 6+ months box time was just great

Pledge Prequel with a couple years on it was pretty good too

Not a big cigar smoker but am starting to dabble. I just picked this up at a local B&M a few minutes ago. Kinda cool that BenMN shared a pic of the same stick just 3 posts up from this one. This is the No.1 ranked cigar from 2020. Guess it should be a good cigar for a noob who wants to experience what a good cigar tastes like.

I haven’t smoked it yet. I Also bought a tin of acid krush gold Sumatra. Ended up smoking one of those. I’ll probably fire up the Pledge tonight. As far as the little Krush cigars I’m not a huge fan. The sweetness to me is acceptable but the other spices they’re flavored with were far too overpowering and left a strong aftertaste. It was definitely a strange combo of flavors. But I’ll still smoke them.

Wondering if that N.A.S. Your smoking Is the La Flor. I just read a review yesterday on that one. If I remember correctly the guy said it’s one of the strongest cigars ever created. definitely have that one on my list to try.
