It's a Roma Craft Cromagnon Aquitane. The original Cromagnons were great. CT Broadleaf ligero wrappers, Cameroon binders, Nicaraguan fillers. The Aquitane is a variation that swapped out the Broadleaf wrapper for a Habano ligero. I liked them very much.

I think in the past year or two they changed the formula, replaced the Broadleaf wrapper with one from PA, and went with an Indonesian binder. Less costly tobaccos. I thought the original line suffered for it. I don't know if the Aquitanes also lost the Cameroon binder, but if they did, it would be a shame, because I always felt that's what made the cigar stand out.

Ah, now I remember. Several years ago, SmokingPipes had a sale and I bought several of the RomaCraft cigars. This is the first on that I’ve smoked, and now I find they’ve changed for the worse.

Wouldashouldacoulda bought more Fuentes when they were cheap!
