The green ones are event only (PataPerro) or limited release like the No.2. My personal favorite is the Black Papasaka. That one is great.
Yeah I like black label version, too.

Now smoking a La Aroma de Cuba CT corona with a cappuccino (more like a latte (just as it is in the U.S., finding a proper cap in Tijuana is just as hit and miss). Enjoying spring weather on my patio in beautiful Baja California, listening to Giants-Reds.

Have been busy with travel for work and adventure, so not much time for cigars lately. I tried to make yesterday count:

'17 Por Larrañaga Petit Coronas - bucketloads of dried fruit flavors and intense sugary caramel, but still a bit muddled to suggest they need more time. I will try another this week to see how the experiences compare.

La Flor Dominicana Cameroon Cabinet no 3 - such a great little cigar and one of my top NC. It may start boring with familiar Dominican oak and musk in the LFD style, but the big anise notes appear halfway and grow the cigar into a memorable smoke. I assume the cigar has half a leaf of something special blended into the back half. I wish this came in a lancero - the Cameroon Cabinet lancero does not compare as it is a different blend; this is the sole remaining size in the now-discontinued LFD 2000 Series.

LFD Maduro Chiselitos - with 2 years of age, they're settling down, but still far too peppery for my taste. The juicy raisin notes are stepping up. Worth checking in again next fall

Today we've got a big day of gardening and going to start mowing. I'm thinking of grabbing some unicorn or another for a smoke this evening while the tamales simmer.

Happy day, all

A Lew Rothman-era El Rey. Wasn’t this a trip down olfactory memory lane! The chocolaty goodness, nothing else like ‘em. This one wasn’t tissue wrapped, it was cello, and the cello was dark brown. No idea what year.

Beer is Victory Dirt Wolf in a St. Bernardus glass that I picked up on self-appointed Belgian brewery tour vacation in the mid 90’s.

What did you think of that Carajo?

I’m having a LFD Colorado Oscuro this evening. View attachment 382520
It was alright. Got 2 six-tins so I'll be working my way through 11 more here in the coming weeks/ months

How you liking the Colorado Oscuro? I bought a bunch of LFD that are just recently passing my 3 month wait time. So far my favorites are the N.A.S. and Double Ligero 452 Natural

It’s smooth! About halfway through it now. I’ll definitely be adding more to the humidor.

Alec Bradley Safe Keepings. So, it's a Nicaraguan puro made by Oliva, which leads me to compare it immediately to the Serie O. And it shares a lot of similarities, including a too-easy draw that you get with the Serie O sometimes. I'm giving this cigar short thrift, because it's a good smoke, but why wouldn't I just grab an O for $4 less (bars on current prices at Smoking Pipes).
