Aksum Claro Toro. I had some confusion around this one, because I wasn't sure if I'd tried it before, but I read this is the Metapa line with a new name. I had tried the Metapa Maduro, but don't remember what I thought about it. Anyway, the Claro version was excellent. Highly recommended for those that like Ecuadorian Sumatra wrappers.

Good but I think I prefer the Rosettas

Disappointing. These were good upon release, and absolutely great last summer. This one had wide open draw, required touch-ups, and flaked ash on me for an hour and a half :( 66°F/64RH

One left from the box, hoping for better out of that one

Enjoying the Tijuana sunshine after a stormy week with a Nestor Miranda Special Selection Habano. Pretty decent if unspectacular cigar. It's mostly leather, coffee, and a hint of spice. Not very complex, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Could use a bit more sweetness for some balance. For the going price at Smoking Pipes, I might buy a couple more.

Excellent cigar. Great construction, burn and draw. I actually get the flavors off the box. Graham and cinnamon retrohale. I had it with black coffee.
