Bought one Fuen Opus X Magumn for my birthday on Saint Patricks day, hitting 82 never smoked one, might not get the chance or the money so it’s size the day!View attachment 366381

Dry box it between now and then. They can be strong cigars, especially when young.

Had an Upmann Petit Corona on the way home from work. Box code is from November 2016 and they're still working towards their peak. A lot of that familiar Up mann leather is now becoming sweet cream. The last third still had a bunch of pepper and earth, which make me think they're another couple few years from perfection. Still, a very good cigar I miss being able to buy boxes of.

These sadly go nowhere for me either outside of the tiny baby nestico vitola which I adore.

I remember seeing mixed reviews of the Reserva Original, but really wanted to enjoy it. But it was the first Plasencia I found disappointing: even my least favorite (the 149) was much better, and the Alma del Campo and Colorado Claro are candidates for permanent humidor residence. I'll have to try the nestico someday, but won't bother with this one again. Fortunately it only cost me $5 (in a BLL blind buy), so the only real waste was my time, when I could have had something better.

I bought 2 of these in September 2023. The first one was very enjoyable; as the fourth cigar I'd ever smoked, it was a close contender to the Oliva O as a favorite. I never smoked the second one, though, so today's the day. I'm happy to say that my memory holds up: this is a pleasant cigar. Unfortunately, the wrapper is developing some cracks, but that's due to the 36 degree dry conditions. Good thing I have Perfecrepair with me.

Today is my schedule Friday off so I decided I'd to try my hand at a little more ghost busting. To kick off my morning i decided to light up the Corojo from La Aurora to keep me and my coffee company.

A very not bad way to start the day 😀 Hope you all have a great Friday!

P.S. Almost forgot to mention I've got the documentary Father the Flame playing in the background. I've heard some really great things about this one! Moreover, I purchased Get Piped's Battle of the Briar. If time permits I'm hoping to watch that today too!
