Pretty good day today, my wife is at work and I'm not! Went for a ride and stopped for chow at a mom and pop on the way home. Now I'm on the deck for some hydration and then coffee with this Lil guy. Hard to believe he's ten already, they grow up so fast.

Another year and I'll be done with the work scene I do believe. It's hot but not as hot as it was on the bike.

I finished my first break-in bowls for my Falcons today, and don’t have enough time for the Alma del Campo I’ve been saving, so I’m having a La Gloria Cubana Classic petit.

The draw is a bit tight and flavor a little lacking compared to my memory of the Wavell (5x50) I remember fondly from last fall, though the aroma is very pleasant. I hope that the larger vitolas are better: I still have another Wavell, along with 2 Presidentes (8x52).

On second thought, though, I think I lit it up too soon after my pipe. As the minutes tick by and the cigar burns down, it is developing a really nice tobacco and spice flavor. I’ll probably buy a tin of these next time Cigar Place has its free shipping promotion.
